Theatre Etiquette

For many of the students who attend this field trip, Shakespearience is the first professional production they've ever seen.

One of the most important aspects of Shakespearience is giving students an opportunity to practice proper theatre etiquette. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines with your class prior to your visit.

All electronic devices must be off and away while in the theatre.

1.

Please use the bathroom before the show begins - there's no intermission.

3.

Respect the theatre and those around you. You are not the only school in the theatre.

5.

No talking during the show. Laughter and applause is wonderful - talking is not.

2.

Eat before the show, not during the show. Food and drink is prohibited in the Alex.

4.

For security reasons, no bags or backpacks are allowed into the theatre for any reason.
